That’s Rio Tinto’s Parker Point site right now, running since July 2025. We build VR mining training, VR site inductions, 360° camp tours and GEAAR geospatial augmented reality for operations across Australia. Perth-based since 2015.

Immersive Mining Solutions

Geaar

The world’s most effortless AR. Using a fusion of GNSS and VPS, GEAAR pins digital assets to the real world with centimetre accuracy. Visualise future projects, historical sites, or complex data directly on location, at true scale. A revolution for infrastructure, mining, and construction.

VR Mining Training

Practise the high-potential events you cannot stage on a running site. Isolation, hazard identification, emergency response, run inside a capture of your own site rather than a generic 3D mine.

Scenarios branch. Assessment data shows you where people hesitated, which is usually where the procedure is unclear.

VR Mine Site Induction

Induct contractors before they fly. One locked running sheet, so the last person this year hears what the first one heard.

Nobody walks into a live area just to be shown it. Your coordinators run it without a specialist, and completion data exports to your LMS.

360° Site and Camp Tours

Send a link. They walk the camp. Rooms, gym, wet mess, crib rooms, all in a browser on a phone.

One build serves recruitment, community sessions, investor visits and school outreach.

GEAAR · geospatial augmented reality for mining

Stand on the Pad. See the Plant that isn’t Built Yet.

GEAAR is geospatial augmented reality. It takes the GIS layers and Navisworks models you already have and stands them up on the real site, at full scale, inside 15 centimetres.

No headset. No survey targets. Just an iPad.

Simulations

Nobody has to Trust a Drawing

Sit with a Traditional Owner group on country and hand across the iPad. They see the thing at full size, in that day’s light, from where they are standing. Every screenshot carries the bearing, altitude and coordinates, so what was shown is on the record.

Clashes You can Point at

The bench reads higher than the section suggested. The conveyor cuts a sightline nobody flagged. Find that standing on the pad, not during construction when the steel is already ordered.

Approvals Without the Six-week Wait

Dust, noise, flood and closure regrowth all run inside the app. Annotated, correctly positioned imagery comes off the iPad the same afternoon instead of arriving as a consultant’s report.

How it works

Three Steps, and Nothing New to Model.

Send Your Data

GIS layers, Navisworks models or geo-points. Whatever your teams already produce.

We Build It

Your pit, plant, roads, services and terrain, deployed into the app and checked against your survey control.

Take it on Site

Point the iPad and the project is there at true scale. Review, consult, decide in the same visit rather than the next one.

The 15 centimetres covers position, rotation and elevation, held by a fusion of GNSS and visual positioning rather than physical survey targets. With multiple automatic and manual redundancies built in, there will never be a moment where your data is not shown in the correct location .

We take data sovereignty and security seriously. Your project data sits on enterprise-grade cloud services, the same Esri infrastructure teams around the world use to store and share secure CAD between sites. We sign an NDA before anything is sent and complete your vendor security assessment as part of onboarding.

The Field Kit

A rugged backpack workstation with its own power and an integrated Starlink Mini. One person carries it to the viewpoint that matters, which on a mine site is always the one furthest from a power point.

Case studies

Two Numbers Worth Knowing

One is a cost that disappeared. The other is proof that people are already searching for what your site looks like.

6 hrs → 30 min

Rio Tinto · Parker Point VR Mine Site Induction

Every induction cost a senior operator half a day, a light vehicle, and now and then a stopped plant. There was no fixed running sheet either, so no two tours matched. Contractors six weeks into site were inducting the people behind them.

We captured the site in stereoscopic 360° and rebuilt the route in VR. Contractors can now complete it before they mobilise, not on their first morning on site.

The delivery method changed. The obligations did not. Your approved content, your assessment, and a completion record per person with timestamps and scores that exports for audit.

Over 200 people inducted since July 2025.

1,500 Walkthroughs

BHP · Mulla Mulla Camp 360° Tour

Nobody accepts a Pilbara roster on a floor plan. BHP built the largest camp in Australia for South Flank, we turned it into a 360° tour of the rooms, gym, wet mess, crib rooms and rec areas, open in any browser.
A candidate who has already walked the village is deciding on what is actually there, not on what they fear. Fewer withdrawals after acceptance, fewer surprises on the first swing, and a partner at the kitchen table who has seen it too.
It surfaced in Google 41,800 times in the last 12 months and 1,500 people clicked in to look around. That is demand for site familiarisation, measured.

This animation has helped to illustrate what we’re working towards at BHP’s South Flank – its successfully supported our narrative and built excitement. We’ve used it as a valuable tool in recruitment, global conferences, social media, & internally to tell our story. It’s a quality product.

Let’s Start with a question

Tell us what you’re trying to change and we’ll answer properly. A training gap you can’t rehearse safely. An induction that costs more than it should. A project nobody can picture from a plan.

No deck and no discovery call unless you ask for one. If XR is the wrong answer, we’ll tell you that instead.

FAQ

The delivery method is not what gets assessed. Your content, your assessment and your records are. We build to the induction content your compliance team has already approved, and every completion is recorded per person with a timestamp and a score that exports for audit. Your obligations do not change and neither does who signs them off.

Completion and assessment data exports in standard formats. Tell us what you run such as SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, or something built in-house and we will confirm the integration before you commit to anything.

It stays with us, inhouse. We sign an NDA before anything is sent and complete your vendor security assessment as part of onboarding. We take data security seriously. And with over a decade of work in this space, you can trust us to keep your data safe.

No. GEAAR runs on the GIS layers, Navisworks models and geo-points your engineering and environmental teams already produce. It’s just that easy.

Position, rotation and elevation, held by GNSS and visual positioning rather than physical survey targets. In open country that is an iPad Pro paired with a satellite receiver. Where satellite fixes get noisy the camera feed is matched against street imagery, and everything can be adjusted by hand with an instant reset.

You can run it on a fleet you already own, or we supply and manage the hardware as part of the rollout. Deployment, documentation, onboarding and support come with the project rather than as an extra.

No. The GEAAR field kit has an integrated Starlink Mini and its own power, for the places that have neither. The field kit has been rigorously tested throughout some of the most remote regions in outback Australia.

The interface is built to be picked up without training, and site coordinators administer inductions themselves. There is a desktop version too, so reviews back at base run off exactly what the field saw.

No. Brownfield tie-ins are among the strongest cases for it, because that is where the gap between as-built and as-drawn produces the most expensive surprises.

Yes. That is usually the point. It is completed off-site before the flight, so their first morning is spent working rather than being driven around.

It depends on the scope and the site, so we will not pretend otherwise. Most first engagements are a single defined scope rather than a platform rollout. Tell us what you are looking at and we will give you an indicative range and timeline on the first call, before you spend anything.
