‘Viewport’ built the ‘Gear VR Device ID’ app as an Ad Supported app. This service ‘Gear VR Device ID’  is provided by at no cost and is intended for use as is.

disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use this Service.

The app uses advertising (and in app payments) to make revenue. The app uses third party

Gear VR Device ID only collects an individual string specific to your device that is used for deployment of Gear VR apps for developent purposes. No other personal information whatsoever is collected by Viewport nor does the app have the capacility to send us any other personal informtaio. We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting this string data, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and Viewport nor Google cannot guarantee its absolute security.
