Back in 2020, Viewport XR partnered with the Department of Parks and Wildlife Western Australia to create what was, at the time, one of the most advanced tourism-focused Virtual Reality apps in Australia.

This proudly WA-made project delivered a 360° and 3D immersive experience, showcasing Western Australia’s most iconic destinations and natural wonders in a way that felt truly ahead of its time.

With custom development tailored specifically for tourism and exploration, the app offered an unprecedented way for users to experience the beauty of WA.

Even years later, the project remains a standout example of how immersive technology can transform the tourism industry.
